Who is eligible to book the Defender Summer Adventures?
Guests of The Surf Lodge between July 1 and September 4, 2023, are eligible to book (1) Defender Summer Adventure during their stay. Available Defender Summer Adventures include Surf Lessons, a Beach Picnic, and a Beach Bonfire.

Can I book if I’m not a guest at The Surf Lodge?
Only customers who have booked a room reservation at The Surf Lodge between July 1 and September 4, 2023 are eligible to participate. Guests that request a Defender Summer Adventure package will be verified with The Surf Lodge prior to confirming any appointments.

Are accommodations at The Surf Lodge included with the Defender Summer Adventures?
Accommodations at The Surf Lodge are not included with the Defender Summer Adventures. Consumers who are staying at The Surf Lodge from July 1 – September 4, 2023 are only eligible to participate.

Are the surfing lessons appropriate for first-time beginners?
Yes! Surfing lessons are available for all experience levels. The local instructors from AIR + SPEED have experience teaching all skill levels.

Is there a minimum age for participation in surfing lessons?
Yes, participants must be 5 years or older to participate.

Are pets allowed in the Defender? Are pets allowed on the beach where the picnic/bonfire are held?
Although many beaches in the area allow pets, for the comfort of everyone that will be utilizing a Defender, we ask that you don’t bring any pets in the vehicles. If you’d like to have your pet join you for a picnic or bonfire, please make other travel arrangements.

Can I adjust the start time for an activity?
We will make every effort to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee that we can change the start time. Picnics and bonfires cannot begin before 5:30 pm due to local restrictions.

Is there a cost associated with the Defender Summer Adventures?
There is not a cost to participate in a Defender Summer Adventure, unless you arrange for incremental services directly with the local team. For instance, if you choose to add more food or beverages to the picnic beyond what is already provided, additional costs may be incurred and will be your responsibility.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
